We are looking for a strong candidate who is data centric and has experience as both a Digital Product Manager and Business Analyst to help us craft the future of Schwab's digital Retirement Distribution experience and digital Inheritance experience.
The Inheritance Journey is focused on making the experience of transitioning wealth to beneficiaries as easy as possible for our clients and their loved ones.
The Retirement Distribution journey is focused on transforming our Retirement Account distribution experience, making it easier for clients to distribute assets from retirement accounts digitally and understand important obligations like Required Minimum Distributions (RMDs).
In this role you will support product managers within a cross-functional delivery team comprised of partners from user experience, design, research, product, data, and technology.

The team is collectively responsible for: Strategy – Setting clear product vision through feature prioritization, rooted in addressing client needs and moving the needle on business goals.
Execution - On all aspects of digital product development including discovery, experimentation,delivery, measurement, and response.
Client Focus – Develop a deep understanding of the target market, personas, and client pain-points.
Partnership –As a member of a cross functional team, collaborate with UX Design, UX Research, Engineering, Data/Analytics, and Digital Product to deliver products our customers love.
Support a variety of stakeholders across the organization including our client-facing employees serving clients as well as platform teams across Schwab.
Key Responsibilities: Product and customer champion
Learn the retirement distribution and estates space.
Become a subject matter expert on Required Minimum Distributions and Inheritance.
Partnering with other Product Managers, you will be responsible for alignment, execution, and strategic vision of a re-imagined digital retirement distribution and inheritance experience.
You will translate product vision into specific deliverables, helping to hydrate backlogs.
You will help drive the product roadmap by managing opportunity backlog and defining features based on feasibility, viability, and usability.
Your primary responsibility will be to drive product discovery, including preparation of Product Requirement Documents (PRDs).
You will drive business analysis on new features by partnering with SMEs across product, business, operations, and technology to conduct process mapping, activity diagraming, and use case modeling to help convey opportunities to our User Experience and Development teams.
You will act as a utility player and step in when needed to support ad-hoc tasks across discovery/product strategy, delivery, and measurement of the product development process.
You will use data effectively to help you drive user insights and inform product decisions.
You will partner with content strategy and design teams to support the process of getting new content approved by Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Fraud partners.
You will play an active role providing input into iterative user testing, leveraging research findings to make product decisions and ongoing improvements to the client experience.

*This is a hybrid position What you have To ensure that we fulfill our promise of "challenging the status quo," this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have : Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or related field, or equivalent work experience.
5 plus years of digital product management skills, experience with client journeys and managing digital user experience.
Strong product strategy and business analysis skills, including proven experience supporting the delivery of successful digital products.
Experience working with cross functional scrum teams - developers, designers and stakeholders, to prioritize backlogs, define requirements, and ensure timely delivery of high quality features that align with business goals
A successful track record managing digital products, including being able to show measurable impact and value of the products managed
Superior communication skills, able to communicate trade-offs, tell a compelling story, and leverage product prototypes to demonstrate ideas.
Demonstrated ability to synthesize and process data.
Strong digital product management skills, experience with client journeys and managing digital user experience
Adobe Analytics experience required.
Experience working in a collaborative multi-disciplinary team within an interactive process and an Agile development methodology.
Good understanding and/or experience with financial services bank & brokerage regulations, specifically around Retirement and Estates, is a plus.
Experience with experiment driven product development - developing and testing hypotheses, leveraging user research and data driven measurement techniques to learn quickly and reduce time to respond, is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications : Ability to dig in a learn existing digital products, including how they work and how they are integrated throughout the Schwab eco-system.
A passion for digital innovation and commitment to superb client experience.
Effective relationship builder – ability to partner cross-functionally, cross-enterprise and work effectively with various levels of the organization as well as various personality types.
Comfort in a dynamic and fast-moving work environment, with a positive attitude and solid work ethic.
Experience writing user stories using Gherkin language is a plus.
Experience developing products in a regulated environment, working through a process with legal and compliance to ensure content is compliant is a plus.
Experience writing SQL and running queries is a plus.
Tools: Experience with MS Project, MS Visio, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required.
Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Tableau, Adobe Analytics, Splunk, Optimizely, A/B Testing, MABL is a plus.
