About the Position Gappify is seeking a Senior Product Manager to join our Product team. This individual will work alongside various cross functional teams: Services, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales (for support to prospects and customers). The Product Manager will be an expert in the Gappify product who not only focuses on product journey/enhancement, but also assists Sales in presenting the value proposition and benefits of the Gappify solution to prospects and customers from demo through Proof of Concept. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting fundamentals, and will have experience working closely with various business units (Sales, Engineering, Marketing). This individual will have excellent communication skills and will be a strong team player.

This is What You'll Do at GappifyProduct Vision and Strategy: Develop and articulate a compelling product vision and strategy that aligns with the overall business objectives and caters to the unique requirements of Mid-Market and Enterprise customers in the accounting domain.Market Research and Customer Insights: Conduct extensive market research and gather customer insights to identify pain points, opportunities, and emerging trends. Translate these findings into actionable product features and enhancements.Roadmap Development: Define and prioritize the product roadmap, ensuring a balance between customer needs, business goals, and technical feasibility.Requirements Gathering and Prioritization: Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization ( to gather, analyze, and prioritize product requirements. Write clear and concise product requirements documents (PRDs) and user stories.Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer success teams to ensure successful product development and launch as tied to Product KPI's.Product Launch and Adoption: Drive the product launch process, including creating go-to-market strategies, focus on UI/UX, coordinating marketing efforts, and providing sales enablement. Monitor product adoption and usage to identify areas for improvement.Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize product analytics and user feedback to measure product performance, identify areas for optimization, and inform future development efforts.Competitive Analysis: Stay informed about competitor activities and industry trends to maintain a competitive edge. This is What You'll Bring to Our TeamMBA, Masters in Product Management, or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Computer Science or a related field.Proven Experience: 5+ years of product management experience, with a focus on SaaS applications catering to Mid-Market and Enterprise customers.Accounting Expertise: Knowledge or drive to build knowledge of accounting processes, workflows, and industry-specific challengesCustomer-Centric Approach: Demonstrated adeptness empathizing with customers and translating their needs into successful Product features.Strategic Thinking: Excellent strategic and analytical skills, with the ability to identify market opportunities and develop actionable plans. Exercise upstream/downstream thinking to refine Product planning and executionStrong Communication and Collaboration: Proven mastery of cross-functional communication and collaboration with stakeholders at all levels.Technical Acumen: Comfort working with highly technical teams and understanding complex, technical concepts. Embrace learning opportunities as challenges to drive success.Data-Driven Mindset: Proficiency in data-informed decision making and driving product improvements.Passion for Innovation: Enthusiasm to explore new ideas and push the boundaries of what is possibleExperience in ERP systems (Netsuite, Workday, Oracle, SAP) and P2P systems (Coupa, Zip) is a plus.

Ideal Candidate: Experience with accounting software or ERP systems.Familiarity with Mid-Market and Enterprise sales cycles and customer dynamics.Demonstrated track record of successfully launching and scaling SaaS products.Experienced in strong advocacy of the Product function to Senior leadershipStrong leadership and influencing skills.Self-motivated and results-oriented team player.
