As a product manager at Vanta, you will be responsible for the overall efficacy and impact of the product features in your area of responsibility. Specifically, that means that you will own the customer voice for your product area, and therefore will be the decision maker for prioritization for your cross-functional team of designers and engineers. You'll also be responsible for collaborating more broadly with cross-departmental partners like Sales, Marketing and Customer Service to deeply serve customers throughout their Vanta journey.
The Test Automation Platform team at Vanta (also known as "TAP") builds the capability for customers to deeply integrate Vanta with the various tools and services that comprise a customer's technology stack from HR to the cloud. This allows Vanta to collect and store that data, evaluate it against a customer's security program, and surface any issues that need fixing so that the customer can get and stay compliant and secure.
What you'll do as a Senior Product Manger, TAP at Vanta: Deeply understand our customers and our market
Develop the strategy and roadmap for Vanta's overall test experience, which comprises the customer's entire journey from creating and managing their tests to the remediation process of debugging and fixing tests
Distill complex problems and opportunities into clearly prioritized product goals, focus for your team, and high-quality execution in collaboration with stakeholders across the company
Deliver a high quality product addressing key customer pain points and creating opportunities for competitive advantage
Help to define and shape Vanta's product team culture as we grow
How to be successful in this role: Have prior experience working on no-code automation workflows driven by integration/API data. Bonus: data analyst experience, including SQL
Have 4+ years of product management experience, with a proven track record for delivering high-quality products to customers
Possess a customer-focused mindset, proactively reaching out to customers and prospects, while simultaneously partnering with go-to-market teams
Ability to see how various products and features should fit together to serve different user groups, with the analytical skills to justify the approach being taken
Be deeply curious, empathetic, and user-centric, with a knack for driving effective collaboration amongst your stakeholders
Have the ability to bring a product roadmap to life through consistent execution and project management
Excellent communication both written and verbal, to effectively communicate ideas and requirements to team members, stakeholders, and executives

We set standard base pay ranges for all roles based on function, level, and country location, benchmarked against similar-stage growth companies. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate location, skills, depth of work experience, and relevant licenses/credentials, and may vary from the amounts listed below. The salary or OTE range for this position is $176,000 - $207,000. This role may also be eligible for commissions/bonus, equity, medical benefits, 401(k) plan, and other company perk programs.
