This Sr. PM-Tech will have responsibility for Amazon branded Devices' product detail pages. The detail page is an important part of the customer shopping journey, and plays a role in helping educate customers about our products, our broader portfolio, and our brand. The Sr. PM-Tech for this position will be responsible for initiatives to improve detail pages, from overall page layout and personalization experiments to delivering new features. They will own products across the entire software development lifecycle, from PR/FAQ phase through business requirements, partner with engineering during software development, and own A/B testing and analysis. This role requires the ability to Think Big and demonstrate Customer Obsession to translate insights about the shopping experience to a product roadmap. While not required, prior experience with software development teams is preferred. A successful candidate will be highly analytical, able to work effectively in a matrixed organization, and adept at working with engineering teams at synthesizing a variety of technologies and capabilities into products and applications that customers love.
Key Job ResponsibilitiesDefine a world-class online customer experience for Amazon devices; write working backwards docs to succinctly capture the envisioned customer benefit and functional requirements.Lead discussion and thinking with the highest-level stakeholders to push into testing new ideas. Lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time.Dive deep on emerging technologies, becoming the subject matter expert on relevant capabilities and application to devices use cases.Provide thought leadership with engineering on implementation.Pilot experiences; collect and report on data; iterate on the path towards full scale roll-out.
