As the Senior Product Manager - Technical, you will be responsible for defining and delivering transformative generative-AI focused customer experiences that showcase our industry-leading Devices products. Leveraging your deep technical expertise and customer obsession, you will drive the vision, strategy, and execution of innovative on-site experiences using the latest technology that captivate and delight millions of users.
Key job responsibilitiesAs an owner of the Amazon onsite experience for Devices, we work backwards from the needs of customers to solve ambiguous problems. As a Product Manager on this team, you will:
Set the vision for your product space and outline a roadmap that impacts the customer experience and delivers incremental value to your business.Work with business leaders, scientists, engineers and UX designers to translate business and functional requirements into concrete deliverables, including the design, development, testing, and deployment of customer-facing experiences at scale.Work on a variety of challenging problems that have the potential to significantly impact Amazon's business and customer experience.Manage prioritization and trade-offs for speed to market, performance, and features.Gain support for your strategy and roadmap from stakeholders by writing narratives and influencing peers and senior leadership.Create program goals and related metrics, track progress and manage through obstacles to achieve goals.Leverage technology, including ML and generative AI, to improve the impact of your solutions.About the teamOur team is the technical arm of the Devices Online Sales and Marketing group. The team's charter is to build systems and programs that help customers discover, choose, purchase, and use Amazon Devices, including Amazon Echo & Alexa products, Fire Tablets, Kindle E-readers, and Fire TV products, and more.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experienceBachelor's degreeExperience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a productExperience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definitionExperience with end to end product deliveryExperience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a productExperience managing technical products or online servicesExperience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planningPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSightExperience in building and driving adoption of new toolsAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
