Job Title: Sr PO, Data Activation Location-Type: Owings Mills, MD - Hybrid Duration: 6-month contract-to-hire with full-time headcount approved Compensation Range: $80/hr - $87/hr W2 (180K) Job Description: We are seeking a Product Owner with a broad scope to manage and enhance the data activation strategy across multiple platforms (MarTech, Voice, CRM, etc.).
This role focuses on moving data from operational systems into activation platforms and ensuring the data is useful, actionable, and aligned with business objectives.
Key responsibilities include leading the development of processes that define the desired user experiences, gathering requirements, and distilling them into clear deliverables.
The Product Owner will work with key stakeholders across departments, acting as the face of the team, driving the data activation agenda, and overseeing a small team of technical and business resources.
Responsibilities: Lead data activation initiatives, enabling segmentation, personalization, and omnichannel experiences (online, phone, etc.).
Own and manage data product functions to maximize the value and accessibility of data.
Collaborate with teams across Client Experience, Marketing, Digital Solutions, Data & Analytics, and Technology to align strategies and drive business outcomes.
Establish and oversee governance practices, ensuring data is accessible, high-quality, protected, and compliant.
Identify opportunities to enhance data value through third-party partnerships and new data sources.
Streamline data distribution processes, reducing data preparation and delivery times through improved efficiency.
Develop data catalogs and implement standardized definitions for better data discovery and automation.
Gather, document, and prioritize development requirements, coordinate testing, and manage production releases.
Requirements: 6 years in a Product role with experience in managing data-driven products.
Knowledge of MarTech platforms (Adobe, Salesforce, Snowflake) and how data can be leveraged effectively.
Enterprise-level experience with a proven track record in stakeholder management (consulting, providing direction, pushing back when necessary).
