We are seeking a motivated engineer to join the team responsible for AppLovin's core mobile engineering team which reaches 410+ million users daily. The team is highly technical and unbureaucratic. You will have opportunities to channel your creativity and have a direct impact on the company's bottom line. We are looking for an engineer to lead QA for AppLovin's SDKs on Android and iOS. This is a key role in the engineering team with the opportunity to build the processes and infrastructure from the ground up. There is also potential to build and lead a team as well.
Responsibilities:
Build and own the QA processes and infrastructure for our Android/iOS SDKs and adapters
Evaluate and integrate various CI/CD solutions into existing build pipelines
Build integration tests for of advertising partners
Conduct big data analysis to identify and rectify technical issues within our products and their integrations
Perform smoke, regression, and e2e tests for new features
Write unit tests using XCTest for iOS, and various frameworks for Android
Stress-test across the full hardware spectrum
Build and lead a QA team to carry out this vision
Requirements:
4+ years of mobile QA/testing experience
Advanced knowledge of CI/CD solutions and app automation such as Selenium, Appium, etc.
Experience developing apps in Android and/or iOS
Experience or desire in leading / mentoring a team
Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience or interest in AdTech is a plus
Familiarity with QA web technologies like HTML and JavaScript is a plus
Good communication and collaboration skills

AppLovin provides a competitive total compensation package with a pay-for-performance rewards approach.
The expected base pay range for this CA based position is $121,000 - $196,000. Total compensation at AppLovin is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Depending on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical and other benefits.
AppLovin provides a competitive total compensation package with a pay for performance rewards approach. Total compensation at AppLovin is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Depending on the position offered, equity, and other forms of incentive compensation (as applicable) may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to dental, vision, and other benefits.
