Position Overview:
As a Senior Production Coordinator, you will be critical in ensuring that our production processes run smoothly and efficiently.
You will oversee the coordination of production schedules, manage communication between various departments, and ensure that all production milestones are met on time.
You will be responsible for streamlining workflows, solving logistical challenges, and maintaining the highest quality control standards.
Responsibilities of the Senior Production Coordinator: Oversee daily production activities and manage timelines to ensure on-time delivery.
Coordinate with internal teams (Design, Marketing, Product Development) to align production schedules.
Track production milestones, adjust schedules as needed, and troubleshoot delays.
Communicate with external vendors and suppliers to ensure raw materials and components are delivered on schedule.
Assist with quality control checks to ensure all products meet company standards.
Prepare production reports, highlighting key metrics such as cost, time, and efficiency improvements.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate reorders as needed to avoid production delays.
Ensure adherence to safety regulations and company policies.
Collaborate with the finance department to manage budgets and control production costs.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement new procedures to increase production efficiency.
Qualifications for the Senior Production Coordinator: 5+ years of experience in apparel production coordination or a similar role.
Strong understanding of production processes.
Excellent project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
Proficiency in production management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Previous experience in manufacturing, fashion, or media is a plus.
Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Production Management, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
