Description

The Senior Planner is a leadership role within the Planning and Inventory Control Team that drives strategic execution.This role is critical in our success in driving the appropriate plan for both produced and purchased products that meet both customer expectations and organizational objectives.


Responsibilities Establishes the production schedules necessary to drive accurate inventory availability to meet sales demand.
Collaborates with Production Team to track production schedule attainment and drive root cause corrective action that will result in best-in-class production adherence levels.
Reviews customer demand against supply and proposes changes that will meet customer expectations.
Collaborates with the Purchasing Team to drive appropriate material requirements and on time deliveries.
Leverages Kinetic ERP System for scheduling, production planning, and shop floor control.
Evaluates materials and capacity to ensure everything is in place for production.
Monitors projected inventory levels and minimizes risk and exposure to slow moving and obsolescence.
Supports Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning Process (SIOP).
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in (B.A / B.S.)
in Supply Chain or Business from an accredited institution.
At least three (3) years of planning experience.
APICS certification, preferred.
Proficient in ERP and MRP , Epicor/Kinetic preferred.
Proficient in MSExcel, Power BI or other Business Intelligence tools in example Tableau.
Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize competing tasks.
Continuous improvement focused.
Able to adapt to changes in work environment.
Strong interpersonal skills to work with team members, clients and suppliers.
Excellent presentation skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
