In this position... 
The Senior Production Supervisor position is a supervisory leadership role supported by on-the-job training, development, and opportunity for career progression. Senior Production Supervisors are:

What you'll do...
Supervise, evaluate, and empower a salary and hourly team that produces manufactured products, and organize workflow to meet quality and daily productivity requirements.
Confirm standards are in place.
Support issues raised by team members.
Plan changes to the system.
Manage changes in the system.
Communication and Recognition.
Create a conductive work environment for the team(s) to complete their asigned responsibilities / tasks.
Ensure safety, quality, and productivity objectives are met through coaching standardized work, verifying lines are running safely, smoothly, and producing quality parts.
Drive to exceed personal, team, Company goals by holding self & team to high performance standards through servant leadership.
Build strong interpersonal relationships with salary and hourly team members, union, and management teams.

You'll have... 
High School Diploma or GED
2+ years of supervisory and / or manufacturing experience
Working knowledge in Microsoft: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Ability to in being able to work rotating shifts and hours

Two-way communicator who actively listens to hourly team members, leaders, business partners and customers
Highly committed to continuous improvement applying innovative solutions with a customer first mindset
Create a safety culture and apply and implement workplace policies
Administer the CBA (collective bargaining agreement) consistently and effectively
Values different opinions & is open to ideas & perspectives from others 

Even better, you may have...
Bachelor's Degree 
Safety and quality experience 
Six Sigma: Black or Green Belt certified
Knowledge of constraint management principles 
Prior experience managing a unionized workforce 
Strong mechanical background
