About the Role: You will drive strategic programs and initiatives, supporting numerous teams to solve complex problems they face, and execute large cross-functional programs that bring our strategic vision to life. You will set the standard for how to ready the business for important technical and operational change. You'll be customer-obsessed, strategic, detail-oriented, and highly creative.
About the Team: The Program Management Office (PMO) helps plan and execute on some of the highest priorities impacting the customer here at Gusto. Directly supporting multiple teams, we lead through crystal clear priorities and roadmaps and organizational rigor. As a leader on the PMO team, you will have the opportunity to partner with business leaders across Product, BizTech, Operational Teams, Sales, and Customer Experience in helping us continue to drive best-in-class experiences for our customers.
Here's what you'll do day-to-day: Identify the framework design principles for a program that will generate successLead and support cross-functional programs and projects interfacing with Product and Customer ExperienceCreate and implement readiness plans to prepare the business for weekly and monthly launchesProvide reporting vertically and horizontally in the bizDevelop and manage programs and project plans and charters for cross-functional initiativesProvide insights and recommendations based on data that will drive our CX strategyBuild and implement scalable processesServe as thought partner for CX operators leadersHypothesis-driven problem solving to drive our business with a "how do we get to yes" mindsetHere's what we're looking for: 6-8 years of relevant work experience in analyst roles, biz ops roles, program management, and/or project managementExperience with Asana and Google Sheets is strongly preferredStakeholder and program management mastery. A proven track record of executing large projects, both in terms of scope, number of stakeholders and impacted teams/organizationsAbility to develop insightful quantitative analyses, paired with strong critical thinking and business judgmentProven process improvement experience and love making things more efficientExecutive presence and ability to influence senior leadersDeep empathy and obsession for our small business customersStrong desire for continuous improvementA passion for helping othersComfortable analyzing, questioning and leveraging dataExperience with Excel and SQL - nice to haveCompensation: Our cash compensation amount for this role is $115,000/yr to $143,000/yr in Denver & most major metro locations, and $140,000/yr to $174,000/yr in San Francisco & New York. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate location, experience and expertise and may vary from the amounts listed above.
Office Expectations: Gusto has physical office spaces in Denver, San Francisco, and New York City. Employees who are based in those locations will be expected to work from the office on designated days approximately 2-3 days per week (or more depending on role).
