Role Description The Senior Project Architect/Project Manager will be responsible for managing and designing resort residential, multifamily housing, and hospitality projects. They will have an architectural license and demonstrate strong leadership abilities, particularly in guiding teams, fostering client relationships, and handling complex project details. This position requires a balance of architectural expertise and project management skills, ensuring the successful development of projects from concept to completion.
Responsibilities & Core Competencies Project Management: Oversee the design and development of complex projects from the programming phase through construction administration, managing all aspects such as schedules, budgets, staffing, and coordination. Creative Problem Solving: Utilize experience and creativity to conceptualize designs and resolve design challenges. Collaboration: Work closely with clients, the BSA design team, and external consultants, maintaining clear communication and project alignment. Business Development: Support business development efforts, including participating in client interviews and presentations. Mentorship: Act as a mentor to less experienced team members, fostering growth and knowledge-sharing. Qualifications & Required Skills Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience within the architecture field, with a strong focus on resort residential, multifamily housing, or hospitality projects. Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution. Licensing: Licensed Architect in the United States. Technical Skills: Proficiency in REVIT and a solid understanding of building systems. Leadership: Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and presentation skills, capable of managing internal teams, consultants, and clients. Project Management: Proven project management expertise, including experience with budgets, staffing, and developing project plans.
