This senior-level position offers the opportunity to work on complex urban infrastructure projects, including storm and sanitary systems, pump stations, wastewater treatment plants, and headworks. The ideal candidate will possess a strong design background and be capable of managing diverse aspects of engineering projects from conception through completion. Essential Responsibilities: Develop and manage designs, drawings, and specifications for industrial development projects. Collaborate in a team-oriented environment on complex urban infrastructure projects, including storm and sanitary systems, pump stations, wastewater treatment plants, and headworks. Utilize a variety of software packages for detailed design, including MS Office, AutoCAD or MicroStation, and Civil 3D. Identify and resolve design and construction challenges. Oversee project budgets and manage resources effectively. Create cost estimates and project schedules to ensure timely completion. Ensure smooth project execution, adhering to established timelines. Participate in contract bidding processes and provide construction administration support. Conduct field investigations to diagnose project issues. Generate reports and preliminary concepts to support project development. Embrace varied experiences and adapt to changing project requirements. Position Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the State of Michigan. Valid driver's license.
