Position Description: We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our Community Design Group to improve infrastructure in our Fort Worth office. Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering, a minimum of ten years of experience in project management and a Professional Engineer license. Candidates must be self-motivated and able to work well with others.
Typical responsibilities include: • Operational o Responsible for financial performance of a division (office or practice area) of designated market segment o Track monthly workload to coordinate staffing needs with the Market Segment Lead (MSL) and recommend staff changes as needed o Mentor project managers o Take on project manager assignments o Review and approve all contracts and seek input from MSL as appropriate o Accountable for project teams o Effectively coordinate division (office or practice) activities with the MSL o Accountable for Project Manager/Client Manager performance o Accountable for pricing o Responsible for client profitability o Assist the Project Manager in A/R and invoicing o Approve training/seminars and memberships with annual budget and coordinate with other Practice Leads/Senior Project Managers within the market segment o Responsible for Utilization and Projects in Trouble o Approve time sheets o Accountable for consistent technical project approach across market segment • Sales/Business Development o Responsible for client satisfaction o Review all proposal scope, pricing and other content o Solicit input on major pursuits from MSL o Responsible for division Sales o Responsible for sales efforts, proposal preparation and presentations and budgets o Solicit input from Practice Leads on specialty products o Coordinate client entertainment activities o Responsible for new client contact development o Review RFPs and assign to the appropriate Project Manager o Create the best project teams o Responsible for division growth initiatives • Corporate o Identify and recommend training, seminars and conferences to MSL o Support the MSL in developing Business Plan goals o Maintain a safe working environment
