Overview ESI is seeking a talented Senior Project Manager to join our team in Kennesaw, GA.
This position requires a Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Construction Management and ten years of experience in managing the design, engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning of steam and power generation facilities.
Senior Project Manager Responsibilities: Overall project execution during the design, engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases of the projectDevelopment of the project execution plan and risk matrixMonitor project schedules and reports provided by the project controls teamMonitor and report on project costs including direct costs (purchased goods and services) and indirect costs (internally generated costs), as well as variance and trend analysisOversee engineering and design productivityReview project drawings and specifications to ensure adherence to contract requirements including customer specifications, quality, and constructabilityOversee and manage design review and constructability review meetingsManage the procurement of all equipment for the projectMaintain contract compliance from a technical and commercial standpointPrepare subcontractor bid packages and manage the selection and contract process for all construction workConstruction oversight including safety, quality, productivity, and cost management (Site CM team reports to PM)Commissioning, start-up, and performance testing oversight (Site COM team reports to PM)Ensure customer satisfaction throughout the duration of the projectTravel to the project site as needed to ensure project success Requirements: Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Construction ManagementPMP LicenseTen years of experience managing the design, engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning of Steam and Power Generation PlantsExperience managing projects in the $50M-$100M rangeExperience managing power generation projects in the 30-100 MW rangeSpecific experience working for an EPC Company involved in steam and power generation projects would be a PLUSPE License a PLUSExperience with Primavera P6 and ProcoreExperience with InEight Estimate and Performance is a PLUS Company ESI Inc. of Tennessee is a design engineering and construction firm that specializes in steam and power generation facilities.
