SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER
POSITION SUMMARY:
The project manager plans and organizes all architectural and engineering functions specific to each project, coordinates interaction between project teams and clients, and provides guidance on technical resource loading.
The successful candidate must have a strong design discipline background along with experience managing architectural and engineering/design projects in the biotech, pharmaceutical, or nutraceutical industries.
This position reports directly to the Director of Project Management.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Establish project budgets, prepare proposals, and develop and maintain client relationships Develop and maintain project resource plans Develop project execution plans including definition of scope, schedule, communication tools, software tools, deliverable distribution lists Collaborate with the regional quality manager in the development of project specific quality plans Properly identify and assess project risks and escalate to senior leadership as appropriate Create and meet all project milestones and financial commitments
REQUIREMENTS:
A Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical or chemical engineering or architecture.
Has a minimum of 10 years in the Life Sciences industry with a minimum of 5 years of relevant project management experience.
Has experience in the design of biotech/pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities and laboratories.
Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional, multi-discipline teams Proficiency in standard PM tools and templates including MS Project, Excel, and PowerPoint
