The Senior Project Manager leads and oversees multiple projects or one larger project or high priority projects, which often require considerable resources and high levels of functional integration. The Senior Project Manager serves as in house project consultant to the administrative and clinical leadership of the Hospitals. Facilitates and coordinates analytical support to operational and clinical resource analysis and benchmarking initiatives and advises on issues related to process improvement and cost management.
This is an 100% onsite role with no options of hybrid. This Senior Project Manager will be responsible to:Lead and oversee multiple projects, through all phases from initiation/planning through the execution and delivery of the contract concluding with project transition and close, ensuring a successful projectConsult with organizational stakeholders. Identify and use appropriate project management tools and concepts (scope management, planning, budget management, risk/ issue management, and communications management). Develop and execute work plan. Set priorities for tasks based on importance and urgency.Create work products and project deliverables independently. Understand and meet expectations for deliverable quality and timeliness. Oversee the creation of work products by others to ensure qualityConduct and/or support complex qualitative and quantitative analysis of project data, summarize findings, draw appropriate conclusions, and effectively communicate results to team. Manage and direct regulatory/ reporting activities related to projects (e.g., IRB, updates/ reports to funding agencies, etc.)Manage communication to and relationships with key project stakeholders (internal and external) and institution-wide. Compose, edit, and deliver all communications. Facilitate group discussions.Support research and project management for Divisional or Institutional projects across all phases of the project life-cycle. Develop tools and processes and provide ongoing supportAssist junior-level staff in developing realistic goals and monitor ongoing developmentTo qualify you must have:A Bachelor?s Degree in Healthcare Management, Science, Business Administration is required. A Master?s degree is preferred as well as 2 years? experience managing multiple highly complex projects.5 years of relevant work experience is required.Project Management Professional Certification or other relevant certification preferred.Ability to effectively manage multiple demands and projects and/or proposals simultaneouslyAdvanced knowledge of PC-based software applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Lucid, Kanban, Grant Charts,Financial modeling is required.Knowledge of SQL, SAS/R/Java/Python is preferredTableau and JIRA is preferredDemonstrated ability to lead quality improvement and/or process improvement activities with multidisciplinary project teams (clinical and non-clinical).
