About the Role The Senior Project Manager / Scrum Master leads the implementation of software development efforts, including coding, configuration, maintenance, installation and debugging of new capabilities. She / he creates integrations with other systems, triggers, web services and custom apps.
\n Essential Responsibilities:Facilitate scrum ceremonies such as daily stand up meetings, backlog grooming, sprint planning, sprint reviews/demos and sprint retrospectivesManage day-to-day execution of project implementations. Assist with the planning, tracking, documentation and status updates for the project.Provide leadership with metrics necessary to make decisions.Protect the team from outside distractions.Remove obstacles in order to continue to deliver.Exercise solid project leadership skills combined with strong business acumen and in-depth analytical skills.Assist the scrum team to become a self-organized, cross-functional, and highly efficient team that delivers high-quality productsLead conversations regarding budget, resources and timeline and formally capture and communicate outcomes of those meetings.Help to facilitate requirements gathering and assist with the creation of project deliverables, as needed.Facilitate the creation of technical design documents for complex projects, by interfacing with Technical Architects and Developers, as needed.Able to manage one or two large projects or a couple of small to medium sized interrelated projects requiring complex cross-functional collaboration and management at the program level.Track utilization of project resources and manage this against the resource allocation and budget.Lead in end to end implementation planning including project management, issue management, communication and change management.As necessary, write and review QA and UAT test scripts. Assist testing efforts when required.Manage UAT with end users including coordination and user acceptance sign-off.Prepare user documentation and training documentation as necessary.Facilitate documenting and executing the team's continuous improvement plan, based on retrospectivesHelp to define and adopt a standardized development lifecycle methodology for all projects. Qualifications:3+ years experience in project management/scrum master role leading business system projects (CRM, ERP, Middleware, etc).Demonstrated ability to manage Director+ level internal project stakeholders.Demonstrated conflict management, escalations, executive communication and leadership skillsOutstanding and effective interpersonal skills; along with strong communication skills both verbal and written.Ability to weigh business and technical requirements to identify dependencies, produce project plans and estimatesAbility to proactively identify and manage project risksAbility to work effectively in a fast paced, high energy, team-oriented environmentBachelor's degree in Business Administration and/or Information Technology or equivalent experienceAgile SCRUM Master Certification (desirable)PMP Certification (desirable)
\nLocation/Travel This remote role can be located anywhere in the United States of America.  Total travel could be up to 20%. The nature of the travel is being onsite at client events, which may include weekends, as well as postmortem and client-driven meetings.
