What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

Manage multiple Generation and/or Transmission projects of considerable size, diversity, complexity, and risk
Develop project plans, budgets, and schedules to achieve project objectives
Lead and manage a team of skilled engineers, designers, and other project support staff
Ensure projects meet or exceed internal and external (client) expectations
Identify and manage project risks and ensure timely completion

What Is Required (Qualifications)

University degree in engineering or relevant professional qualifications
7+ years of experience as a Project Manager in the power industry or similar field
Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices
Experience with industry scheduling systems and MS Office suite
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

Previous experience in utilities, renewable energy, and transmission/distribution
Familiarity with Hydro One projects
Demonstrated experience in developing project execution plans and budgets
Experience in preparing proposals for clients
Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
