Job OverviewNexus is seeking a Senior Protocol Engineer to join our core engineering team. You will play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing robust and secure protocols that form the foundation of our innovative decentralized platform. Your expertise in distributed systems and cryptography will be instrumental in building a scalable and reliable infrastructure for the future of verifiable computing.
ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and document efficient and secure protocols for distributed systems.
Implement and test protocols using appropriate programming languages and frameworks.
Analyze performance bottlenecks and optimize protocols for scalability and reliability.
Integrate developed protocols seamlessly with existing infrastructure components.
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in blockchain technology, consensus mechanisms, and cryptographic primitives.
Requirements5+ years of progressive experience with a focus on distributed systems and protocol design.
Master's degree in computer science or a related technical field; PhD preferred.
Deep understanding of cryptographic concepts and their application in secure communication protocols.
In-depth knowledge of common algorithms, data structures, and their computational/memory complexities.
Experience implementing data structures and algorithms from scratch.
