Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated AI Software Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be working directly with both co-founders to drive advances in our AI Director system that drives all shows across the platform. As an early hire, you will have the unique opportunity to make a significant impact on our product and company culture.
Responsibilities Build frameworks in Python that are modular and scalable. Design improvements and build new functionality for our show creation platform. Collaborate across our 3D (Unity) and design team to ship features end-to-end. Proactively be building towards scale - many concurrent shows all being generated in real time. Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation. Explore state-of-the-art ML models for a variety of tasks, including TTS, CV/scene understanding, and 3D reconstruction. Qualifications Deep experience with building complex Python frameworks. Strong knowledge of async programming and parallelization to handle scale. At least hobby-level past interest in exploring LLM applications (RAG, chatbots, etc). Solid background in algorithms, data structures, and object-oriented programming. Experience scaling products at hyper-growth startups. Nice to Have General experience and interest in ML models at a fundamental level (recommender systems, personalization models). Have shipped production LLM apps before. Experience with web development - JS, Supabase. Have worked in or are interested in building in consumer/consumer social. Salary Range: $130,000-$175,000 base.
