What To Expect: The Senior Quality Assessor is responsible for conducting on-site, one-day quality assessments and audits of electromechanical product suppliers. This role ensures that supplier products meet quality, safety, and performance standards through regular evaluations. The assessor works closely with suppliers to identify improvement opportunities and ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations.
\n What You'll Do:Conduct one-day assessments and audits at client-supplier sites to evaluate product quality and compliance.Inspect electromechanical products and manufacturing processes for adherence to specifications and standards.Identify and document quality issues, performing root cause analysis and recommending corrective actions.Assess supplier quality management systems for effectiveness, identifying areas for improvement.Collaborate with suppliers to ensure corrective actions are implemented and sustained.Prepare detailed audit reports and communicate findings to clients and suppliers.Ensure suppliers comply with industry regulations (e.g., ISO, CE, UL, RoHS).Provide feedback and guidance to suppliers to enhance product quality and efficiency. What You'll Need:Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or a related field.5+ years of experience in quality assurance, particularly with electromechanical products.Proven experience in conducting quality assessments, audits, and inspections.Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements (ISO, CE, UL, etc.).Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple supplier audits.Due to the nature of the products, US Citizenship is also a requirement, and background checks are required. Desired Skills: Certification in quality management (CQE, Six Sigma, etc.) Familiarity with supplier quality management systems and risk assessment tools. Work Environment:
Travel required for site visits (1-day assessments).May require the use of PPE depending on the supplier's environment.
\n$900 - $1,100 one-time
Additional .67 per mile traveled. Reimbursement on meals and other travel cost if necessary
