Senior Quality Assessor/ Engineer - Pcba & Cable Harnesses

We are searching for a professional Harnesses and PCBA-qualified auditor/assessor in the So Cal, Nor Cal, and Pacific Northwest region.
What to Expect: This is an ongoing, as-needed, 1-day audit role in the West Coast Region. There are expected to be 19 Assessments done in quarters 3 and 4 in 2024. SQA Services will offer program orientation, NDAs, associate orientation to procedures, supplier liaison, report reviews for consistency, alignment with client criteria, etc.
$900 - $1,250 one-time
What you'll do: Supplier Assessments will be conducted utilizing the provider's proprietary Commodity & Special Process Assessment Tool.
Line and workstation setup Tool and equipment control processes such as cutting, stripping, lead preparation, solder, solderability, bonding
Installation of contacts and connectors Electrical test methods
Evaluate the potential failure mechanisms of commodity types and special processes
Configured to the industry standards/codes applicable to the commodity or special process
Assesses the supplier Quality Management System to the appropriate industry (e.g. ISO 9001:2015, ISO 13485, AS 9100,)
Have an in-depth understanding of the process, materials, tools, and challenges around manufacturing the commodity the supplier manufactures.
What you'll need: A minimum of 7 years of experience is required
Experience in Qualifying suppliers
Experience in Harnesses and PCBA
Experience with Quality Standards (e.g. ISO 9001:2015, ISO 13485, AS 9100,)
Due to the nature of the products, US Citizenship is also a requirement, and background checks are required
