Cornerstone is seeking Senior Records Managers to lead critical initiatives supporting the United States Air Force (USAF) Security Forces (SF) in managing criminal history record information and law enforcement support programs. This role entails overseeing the request, receipt, inventory, tracking, and auditing of law enforcement records and criminal investigations for accurate entry into Department of Justice (DoJ) and Department of Defense (DoD) databases. The Senior Records Manager will conduct compliance reviews, manage records, and ensure data integrity while supporting military and civilian personnel assigned to DAF criminal indexing cells, task forces, or field units. Additionally, the role involves developing comprehensive instructional materials and delivering training on criminal indexing policies and procedures. Candidates must demonstrate extensive experience in information and records management, with proficiency in government databases and related systems. Strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively are essential for success in this role. The primary duty station for this position will be at the Russell Knox Building, 27130 Telegraph Rd., Quantico, VA, or as designated within the National Capitol Region.
Job Summary: The Senior Records Manager will oversee the conversion, management, retention, and destruction of official records. This role involves creating policies for record retention and storage and managing Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests.
Key Responsibilities:
Convert, manage, retain, and destroy official records.
Create and update agency policies for the retention and storage of records.
Utilize AFRIMS for tracking and retrieving records from NARA.
Accurately complete FOIA requests.
Maintain oversight of records retention schedules.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 6 years of relevant and specialized experience in records management.
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
Candidates must have and maintain a secret security clearance.
Skills:
Strong organizational and records management skills.
Knowledge of AFRIMS and NARA systems.
Attention to detail and accuracy in handling sensitive records.
