The Talent Acquisition team implements the organization's recruitment strategy to efficiently and effectively fill job vacancies, ensure smooth integration of new employees, and select candidates who best align with both the position's requirements and the business's needs. Recruitment activities encompass advising on job descriptions, opening new positions, reviewing applications and resumes, conducting market research and benchmarking, sourcing talent, interviewing and assessing candidates, providing guidance to hiring leaders and business partners throughout the recruitment process, collaborating on hiring decisions, negotiating employment offers, building talent pipelines, and supporting pre-hire and onboarding activities to ensure a positive experience, among other responsibilities.
This role in summary:
Whirlpool Corporation is hiring an experienced Recruiter/Talent Acquisition Partner to support professional-level roles within assigned business groups. In this role, you will collaborate closely with Hiring Leaders across multiple business functions to understand talent needs and requirements, develop sourcing strategies, and execute recruiting initiatives to fill open positions. You will play a key role in the screening, interviewing, and selection processes, offering your expertise and guidance to our leaders and business partners. Additionally, you will provide valuable input on all aspects of the Talent Acquisition process, including marketplace data, job description creation and enhancement, job offer structure and negotiation, and candidate closing. As a Talent Acquisition subject matter expert, you will advise and guide hiring managers, business partners, and other key stakeholders as needed.
Your responsibilities will include:
Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage the recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding support for professional-level roles.
Strategic Sourcing: Leverage modern recruitment tools, CRM/ATS systems, and innovative methods to identify and attract top talent.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with leaders and business partners across multiple business functions to align talent acquisition strategies with business needs.
Develop and implement strategies to build diverse candidate pipelines and ensure inclusive hiring practices.
Market Insights: Provide data-driven recommendations on talent availability, marketplace trends, and compensation benchmarks to inform recruitment decisions.
Advise on and negotiate competitive offers, including compensation and relocation, ensuring alignment with company policies.
Serve as a trusted advisor, guiding hiring managers and stakeholders on recruitment processes and best practices.
Minimum requirements:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in Talent Acquisition or a related field.
3+ years of full life-cycle recruitment experience, successfully hiring professional-level talent across diverse business functions.
1+ years of hands-on experience in sourcing candidates using advanced techniques and tools.
Demonstrated ability to recruit and present diverse slates of high-quality talent across assigned business functions.
Proven experience partnering with and advising hiring managers throughout the talent acquisition lifecycle, from role definition to candidate selection, offering strategic insights and guidance.
Preferred skills and experiences:
Talent Acquisition and/or Sourcing certification.
Expertise in utilizing modern recruitment tools, including CRM and ATS systems, to streamline the recruitment process and enhance candidate experience.
Demonstrated adaptability, with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and recruit for various roles in a fast-paced, matrixed organizational environment.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence key stakeholders at all levels.
Ability to contribute to employer branding efforts to attract top talent, including leveraging social media and other platforms.
Experience using recruitment data and analytics to assess the effectiveness of recruiting strategies, optimize processes, and implement improvements.
A strong understanding of industry-specific recruitment trends, competitive talent landscapes, and best practices.
