ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive medical assessments, including taking detailed patient histories, performing physical examinations, and ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests.Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients, incorporating evidence-based medicine and considering individual patient preferences and needs.Manage and follow up on chronic medical conditions, including diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular diseases, respiratory diseases, and other internal medicine-related disorders.Provide acute care for patients with acute illnesses, infections, and injuries, making appropriate referrals to specialists as needed.Practice population health management by identifying and addressing health issues at the community level, implementing preventive measures, and promoting health education and awareness.Utilize telemedicine platforms to provide remote consultations, monitor patients' progress, and offer virtual follow-up care.Collaborate with other specialists, primary care physicians, nurses, and allied healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.Embrace value-based care principles, focusing on improving patient outcomes and reducing healthcare costs through enhanced care coordination, preventive measures, and efficient resource utilization.Educate patients and their families about disease prevention, health promotion, and self-management strategies.Stay up to date with the latest advancements in internal medicine, including new treatment modalities, medications, guidelines, population health management strategies, and value-based care models, and integrate them into clinical practice.Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.Participate in quality improvement initiatives, research activities, and clinical audits to enhance patient care and outcomes.Minimum RequirementsMedical degree (MD, MBBS, or equivalent) from an accredited medical school.Completion of residency training in Internal Medicine from an accredited program.Board certification in Internal Medicine from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS).Proven experience as a Registrar in Internal Medicine or similar role, preferably in a hospital, clinical setting or telehealth settings.Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) and other healthcare technologies.Strong clinical skills and ability to diagnose and manage a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions in adult patients.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish effective relationships with patients and colleagues.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and provide continuity of care.Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying abreast of the latest advancements in Internal Medicine.
