**SENIOR RESEARCH ASSOCIATE, ANTIBODY QC AND INVENTORY**

Duties and Responsibilities
* Receive and store antibodies and manage antibody inventory.
* Process antibodies to be used in downstream assays.
* Interact with various research groups and formulate material from inventory.
* Triage, prioritize, schedule, and communicate status of requests.
* Develop and perform antibody quality control assays.
* Develop and apply protocols for automated liquid handling.
* Guide and present group strategy quarterly to outside department heads.
* Manage and maintain consumables stocks.
* Identify, quote, and purchase capital equipment.
* Ensure the integrity of LIMS database (timely updates and error correction).
* Determine, define, request, and validate new LIMS features.
* Organize and co-lead monthly trainings on the LIMS system.
* Develop and apply automated spreadsheet-based data management tools.
* Manage CRO projects for mass-spec based QC methods.
* Train junior staff on workflows, SOPs and good laboratory practices.
Professional Experience
Maintenance of reagent inventory; Inventory of samples received and analyzed; QC assays (Mass spec, HPLC, SDS-PAGE, and capillary electrophoresis (CE)); and Antibody and biologic therapeutics.
*Experience may have been gained before conferral of Masters degree. * Employee may work remotely from home office.
Qualifications
The position requires a Masters degree, or foreign equivalent, in biochemistry, analytical chemistry, biotechnology, or a related field. The position also requires Two (2) years of experience in job offered or in a research-related profession.
