Senior Revenue Cycle Consultant

Job Description: Summary:
As a Senior Revenue Cycle Consultant, you will provide services to assist our Defense Health Agency (DHA) client in managing revenue cycle operations.
This includes reviewing and analyzing data, identifying process improvement opportunities, developing recommendations, and supporting congressional inquiries to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in revenue cycle operations.

Qualifications:Demonstrates knowledge of client organization, strategic goals, governance structure, and overall client environment.Demonstrates ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment.Actively participate within project team(s) and engage with team members to ensure project objectives and client needs are met.Assists in developing effective internal and external presentations and skillfully helps to facilitate client and internal team meetings.Adheres to defined work plans while maintaining all established timelines and deliverable deadlines.Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with cross-functional team members, clients, business partners, government agencies, and other various stakeholders involved in revenue cycle.Ability to apply principles and practices in revenue cycle management, such as charge capture, coding, billing, reimbursement, denial management, and policy/compliance.Ability to identify and resolve issues and problems related to revenue cycle.Ability to analyze and interpret complex data, processes, and reports related to revenue cycle.Ability to use various software applications and tools to perform revenue cycle functions, such as Electronic Health Record systems (Oracle/Cerner MHS GENESIS Patient Accounting Module (CPAM)), billing/claim solutions/systems (Electronic Claims Clearinghouse (SSI), 3M 360 Encompass Institutional & Professional Coding, Claim Scrubber Edits (Alpha ii), Dentrix Billing, Patient Statements/Letters (RevSpring), and data analytics tools/repositories (Excel, Power BI, SAS, Tableau, HealtheAnalytics).Research and respond to congressional inquiries directed to the Defense Health Agency (DHA).
Analyze congressional inquiries and draft official correspondence, coordinate with agency stakeholders, maintain a database of inquiries, brief leadership on program status, and coordinate inquiry close-out and follow-up actions.Knowledge and experience with policy writing and/or regulatory compliance management.Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills.Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Bachelor's degree required, Finance, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or related field preferred.
Masters in Business Administration or related field, ideal.7 or more years of consulting or healthcare experience required, preferably in a federal consulting environment.
