About the roleRippling is looking for a stand out Senior Sales Strategy Manager to own sales strategy and operations for our Spend business suite. This role is the right hand to the Spend sales leader who oversees new logos, cross-sell, and post-sales. You'll collaborate closely with Sales and Finance leadership and other key cross-functional partners to develop sales strategies and build and execute on operational plans. You'll also work to uncover insights, develop recommendations, and then implement improvements to our sales strategy.
The ideal candidate will have worked in fast-paced and high revenue growth environments before, ideally at a fintech company. You should also be comfortable tackling ambiguous and challenging problems and working independently as well as part of a team. This is an opportunity to work on high-visibility strategic initiatives in a rapidly growing sales organization.
What you will doPartner with the Sales Leader and Finance to define and refine the sales strategies.Create and maintain the operational plans including the likes of sales targets and headcount plans.Analyze the impact of new product launches and identify changes required to existing sales teams to maximize launch outcomes.Establish and report on key performance metrics to keep a pulse on the business and recommend and implement process and workflow improvements.Implement changes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Sales teams.Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and other parts of the Sales organization to ensure alignment.What you will need5+ years of work experience in Sales Strategy, Finance, Sales Analytics, or another related field.Experience in Fintech is a plus.Experience leading, developing, and building a high performing team.Proactive, self-starter that is experienced in delivering a measurable impact to sales and sales teams.Excellent cross-functional stakeholder management.Experience driving cross-functional initiatives forward with speed and efficiency.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Additional InformationRippling is an equal opportunity employer.
