As a member of the UC organization, you'll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (IoT), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS.

As a Senior Software Development Engineer on the AWS Config team, you'll have the opportunity to work alongside an outstanding group of developers building one of the most robust and widely-adopted cloud resource management and compliance platforms in the industry.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop state-of-the-art approaches to solving complex and ambiguous problems.Cultivate engineering and operational excellence through metrics and continuous learning.Provide thought leadership and establish technical vision for the team.Use software engineering best practices to ensure a high standard of quality for all of the team deliverables.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience.5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
