Snowflake's App and Collaboration team builds platform infrastructure underneath Snowflake apps to enable data analysis and AI/Ml modeling, with access to powerful data and AI/ML API resources on Snowflake.
AS A SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER - APP AND COLLABORATION PLATFORM TEAM YOU WILL:
Contribute to highly impactful initiatives for platform infrastructure underneath Snowflake apps for Data Analysis and AI/ML modeling lifecycle workflows.
Innovate and build highly secure and reliable software to allow customers to be AI and data-driven.
Design and implement highly available distributed platforms within the global Snowflake.
Revolutionize how organizations leverage data and AI as a strategic business asset.
Ensure operational readiness of the platform and meet the commitments to our customers regarding reliability, availability and performance.
OUR IDEAL SOFTWARE ENGINEER - APP AND COLLABORATION PLATFORM, WILL HAVE:
10+ years industry experience designing, building and supporting large-scale distributed systems in production.
Strong fundamental computer science skills.
Fluency in Java or Python or C++.
Knowledge of AI/ML Lifecycle Infrastructure/tooling and database internals is a big plus.
Deep multi-faceted appreciation in building end-to-end customer facing products.
Experience driving company initiatives towards customer satisfaction.
BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or related majors, or equivalent experience.

The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role:
The estimated base salary range for this role is $214,000 - $327,750.
Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake's bonus and equity plan.
The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location. This role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; flexible spending & health savings account; at least 12 paid holidays; paid time off; parental leave; employee assistance program; and other company benefits.
