About the Role Join our dynamic team as we push the boundaries of robotics and autonomy technology in Agriculture. As part of the Software Services Team, you will play a crucial role in building and scaling our cloud services including APIs, data processing pipelines, & data storage systems. These systems enable reliable connectivity between fleets of vehicles, operators, & user applications to enable a seamless and easy to use experience in the management & execution of autonomous operations in agriculture.
\n What You'll DoDesign & develop APIs to support new features and functionality for end user applications & vehicles.Write clean, well-structured, and maintainable code that follows industry best practicesWriting tests for the features you build to ensure correct functionality.Collaborate with Product, UX, and other engineering teams to develop systems as our needs grow and evolve.Mentor junior engineers on best practices for development and testing.Write RFCs for new product features to drive the development process.Take ownership of projects and ensure timely delivery of high-quality work. What You'll BringSolid experience as a full-stack or backend developer, showcasing a deep understanding of system design, data structures, and algorithms.6+ years of experience building scalable web services.Experience with Node.js, Serverless services (Lambda, Aurora, Fargate, API Gateway, etc.), MySQL/DynamoDB, Containerization (Docker, Fargate, EKS, etc.) and CloudFormation.Experience with building data pipelines & workflow automations using Airflow, AWS Step Functions, or similar.A desire to learn new technologies and expand your scope as needed in a fast moving startup environment. What Makes You a Strong FitExpertise in AWS services and understanding of best practices for various service needs.Experience with gRPC and Protobuf.Experience building and shipping highly available and scalable APIs.Experience as a tech lead in a fast moving team building backend services.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $160,000 to $190,000 + equity + benefits + unlimited PTO

Our interview process is generally conducted in five (5) phases:
1. Phone Screen with People Operations (30 minutes)
2. Video Interview with the Hiring Manager (45 minutes)
3. C++ Coding Challenge (1 hour with an Engineer)
4. Panel Interview (Video interviews scheduled with key stakeholders; each interview will be 30 to 45 minutes)
5. Final Interviews (CEO, CFO, VP of Engineering, 30 minutes each)
