What would your day-to-day look like: Strategizing, scoping, and planning upcoming projects owned by the international team.Writing, reviewing, and optimizing code to improve product functionality.Innovating engineering solutions for enhanced user experiences across different verticals.Collaborating with product operations and managers to translate requirements into effective features.Engaging in project planning and pair programming sessions with fellow developers. An ideal candidate has: 5+ years of professional experience in full stack software engineering.Proficiency in leading technical discussions and making sound architectural decisions.Demonstrated ability to take ownership of features throughout the development lifecycle.Strong communication skills with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and operations.Experience with microservices architecture and expertise in Scala or similar JVM languages.Familiarity with gRPC, pub/sub, REST, and SOAP for service communication.Proven track record in delivering complex, long-term projects end-to-end.Thrives in technically challenging environments, particularly within the travel industry.
