About the Opportunity: We are looking for a highly skilled Full Stack Senior Software Engineer to join our growing Payments team.
You will work closely with key stakeholders to build scalable, high-quality solutions in PHP/Laravel, Vue.js, Typescript, and Tailwind.
The ideal candidate has a background building payments products as well as extensive experience building full stack SaaS applications.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain end-to-end web payments applications using PHP/Laravel and Vue.js.Implement and maintain payments features ensuring compliance with standards and best practices.Collaborate with product owners, designers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into working features for our customers.Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code following best practices and coding standards for both backend and frontend components.Strong experience with integrations and APIs to enable our applications to operate seamlessly with various internal and external services and partners.Focus on ownership and high-quality code.
Engage in code reviews and all facets of testing (unit, integration, E2E, etc).Mentor junior developers and assist in their professional growth and development.
A leader by example.Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to deploy and maintain applications in production environments.Required Skills: Strong proficiency in PHP/Laravel, with a good understanding of object-oriented programming principles, and system architecture and patterns.Experience with modern frontend technologies such as Vue.js, Typescript, and Tailwind.Strong experience in writing high-quality testable code.Solid understanding of relational databases and experience working with database systems like MySQL or PostgreSQL.Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and practices, and the ability to thrive in an Agile environment.Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with a keen attention to detail.Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.Experience with modern tooling to support CI/CD practices.
Bonus for working with deployment pipelines to cloud platforms such as AWS.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).5+ years of experience in web application development.
