About the RoleWork on a tight-knit team of highly motivated and experienced data engineers and data infra engineers with frequent collaboration with data scientists, product managers and the rest of engineering.Help manage and build out our data platform and suite of data tools.Be a driver of a data-centric culture at Patreon. Work autonomously on large green field initiatives and help define data best practices at the company.About YouExpert in Python (or equivalent) and SQL / Spark. Experience standing up and managing Data Infrastructure including warehouses and lakes (Big Query, Snowflake, Delta Lake, etc) as well as orchestration tools and libraries (Airflow, DBT, etc). Experience architecting large, scalable systems. Messaging systems, event systems, pubsubs, etc. Experience building platform tooling to enable data self-service by engineers and data scientists. Enjoy collaborating with data scientists and product engineers.
