We are a fast growing group of engineers building Application Security experiences inside of New Relic, and we need your help We are seeking a Frontend focused Senior Software Engineer to build cross-product Security focused user experiences.
What you'll do Collaborate with design, product and engineering leadership to build our component strategy.
Produce highly performant and flexible user experiences, both from scratch and as enhancements of existing experiences Work on run-ahead prototypes for new features or products.
Collaborate with designers and other UI engineers across the company to learn from others and to ensure you stay up to date on the company's UI best practices Mentor junior engineers as they take on frontend focused tasks.
Learn and improve your skills to continuously push us to deliver higher quality data products and improve how we view developer centric security experiences This role requires You are a great fit for this job if you have spent the last 5 years of your career building user experiences with modern JavaScript frontend frameworks as part of a large design system.
5 years of experience working with modern JavaScript front-end frameworks Familiarity with modern development and build tools such as git, npm, babel, and webpack Experience with front-end JS testing tools and a comprehensive understanding of UI testing techniques Experience integrating the UI with data from service endpoints (REST, GraphQL) Expertise in modern HTML and CSS, including extension languages like Sass Bonus points if you have Experience owning React component libraries Experience operating with ambiguity and iterating quickly on designs Experience building Application Security related products Experience working with or building GraphQL schemas Fostering a diverse, welcoming and inclusive environment is important to us.

Estimated Base Pay Range: $ 146,000 - $ 182,000 The pay range above represents a reasonable estimate of the salary for the listed position.
This role is eligible for a corporate bonus plan.
Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related factors such as an applicant's skills, qualifications, and experience.
