The Basics (Hybrid Role - Part-time IN office)As a Full-Stack Senior Software Engineer at Tanium, you will be working on a project that will make IT and security teams more effective at scale by automating complex tasks in real time using cutting edge technologies. When new products ideas are identified, our software engineers design, develop, test, and deploy the products from the ground up, while iterating with product management and customers for feedback and input. Design, develop and test new product ideas from the ground up while working with product management for feedback and inputWork on small teams that tackle big challenges in common components like a common data service tasked with unifying and consolidating endpoint data across the entire ecosystem, handling time series data that drive dashboarding and reporting, and exposing data externally through GraphQL enabling partners (like Salesforce) to easily integrateDelivering higher level services enabled by our core services that directly enable our products and focus on everything from security to operations to auditingBe on periodic on-call for triage of critical alertsEducationBachelor's degree or equivalent experienceCS Degree preferredExperience5+ years industry experienceExperience designing and building high-impact, high-performance, scalable, observable, and maintainable backend services and APIs Knowledge of of Golang (required), Node.js, Python, Ruby, or RustExperience with HTTP API design and developmentExperience with modern software engineering development and automation tools like git and JenkinsExperience with React, Typescript, Javascript, and other front-end technologies and frameworks. What you'll getThe annual base salary range for this full-time position is $115,000 to $350,000. This range is an estimate for what Tanium will pay a new hire.
