About the role The Growth Engineering team is dedicated to building best in class products, data infrastructure, and processes designed to give marketers the ultimate leverage for campaign execution. The team partners very closely with Go-To-Market and data teams, in a collaborative relationship, to build solutions that amplify the effectiveness of the Rippling GTM strategy – everything from ML recommendation algorithms, to core data infrastructure / pipeline work, to building marketing products and complex workflows, to proprietary data funnels, to much more.
We are seeking a talented growth minded, senior software engineer to join the team. The ideal candidate wants to work in an agile environment close to the business and is not tied down to one specific product, but rather is a catalyst of innovation serving a variety of different business needs and pains.
What you will do Leverage ML/AI to build recommendation algorithms and audience generation at scale
Develop state of the art experimentation platforms to enable growth experiments at scale.
Develop high-quality software with attention to detail using tech stacks like Python, React, MongoDB, Snowflake and Kafka
Leverage big data technologies like Apache Presto, Apache Pinot, Flink, and Airflow
Create customer data pipelines across different business systems that work at scale
Design, develop, code, and test software systems, improvements, products, and user-facing experiences
Work alongside software architects and senior developers doing state-of-the-art development work
Contribute to product design and implementation discussions
Find and build unique solutions to implement projects from the idea phase to production
What you will need A minimum 5 years of professional work experience
Strong coding and low level design skills
Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Proven track of developing scalable and extendable core services or products
Excellent ability to communicate complex technical ideas with clarity and precision
The pay range for this role is:
135,000 - 236,250 USD per year (US San Francisco Bay Area)
