Senior Software Engineer II, Stealth Venture (San Francisco)Our mission: to eliminate every barrier to mental health. This role will be required to work out of an office location 3 days per week in San Francisco.
Initially reporting to the General Manager, Stealth Venture, you will be in a high-visibility, high-impact role as a Senior Software Engineer II over a new initiative. You'll be a technical leader involved in driving the delivery as a part of a 0-1 team. You will be a champion of technical initiatives and work closely with our product leadership to prioritize and execute on deliverables.
What You Will Be Doing: Drive a 0-1 high-impact product initiative, playing a swiss army knife on engineering as a technical leaderWork with a cross-functional SWAT team of product managers, designers, data scientists, and marketers to rapidly innovate and execute against company prioritiesPartner with the GM, EM, and CTO to set standards, technical vision, and software architectureTake on complex requirements and distill them into a proposal of small deliverablesSuccessfully manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverablesLook for opportunities for process improvements and opportunities to exhibit leadershipExhibit a deep understanding of our products, how customers use them, and how they fit into the larger businessQuickly pivot solutions based on feedback or complexity, effectively communicating reasons for the change and path forward to rest of your teamManage risks, dependencies and tradeoffs inevitable in complex project deliveryWhat We Expect From You: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field6+ years of experience as an engineer or technologist, with a proven track record of delivering successful products in or adjacent to the healthcare industryDeep understanding of modern healthcare SaaS platforms and their architectureExceptional verbal and written communication skills. You should be able to explain your approach and the impact of your work to non-technical stakeholdersAn ability to navigate ambiguity, with a bias towards rapid execution over processExperience working in an early stage startup environment. Our ideal candidate will be comfortable with a high-growth, dynamic, 0-1 environmentPreferred experience with AI/ML toolsPreferred experience in mental health technology; required experience in healthcare technologyThe target base salary range for this position is $179,100 - $218,550 , and is part of a competitive total rewards package including stock options and benefits.
