Senior Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual for our AI security initiative to ensure the safe development of our generative AI technology.
As Senior Software Engineer – AI Safety, you will be working with a team of engineers to develop ideas and products that safeguard Intuit's generative AI ecosystem.
ResponsibilitiesLead development efforts to build software to safeguard our AI ecosystem.Provide technical leadership and be a role model and mentor to engineers.Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the risks and potential dangers associated with the use of AI.Advocate for the highest standards for engineering design, implementation, and testing.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices for the use of AI at Intuit, while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.Minimum RequirementsBS/MS in computer science/engineering or equivalent work experienceAt least 8 years of experience in software engineering and security.Expert knowledge of backend software development (Java and Python)Experience with AI technologies such as SageMaker, LangChain, LLMs, Prompt Engineering, DialogFlowDemonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate at all levels - from front line engineers and non-technical stakeholders to senior leaders in engineering or at the executive level.Ability to drive velocity while partnering with data science and engineering teams across multiple time zones.
