Position Overview:As a Senior Software Engineer at Dyna Robotics, you will play a pivotal role in developing a wide range of software applications to support our cutting-edge robotic systems. Your work will encompass areas such as remote teleoperation systems, data collection and processing systems, backend and frontend systems, and metrics systems. You will collaborate closely with our AI research and hardware teams to enhance the intelligence and reliability of our robotic solutions. This position is essential to our mission of achieving long-term general intelligence in robotic systems.
Key Responsibilities:Implement tooling to support critical systems including robotic and machine learning systems.Collaborate with AI and hardware teams to ensure software integration into hardware and research workstreams.Develop user-facing software for collecting data.Configure and set up robotic systems.Conduct peer code reviews and write technical documentation.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.At least 3 years of professional experience in the software industry.Familiar with coding best practices and design patterns.Familiarity with deployment tools like Docker/Kubernetes.Strong fundamentals in algorithms, data structures, operating systems, databases, and networking.Experience building highly scalable applications independently.Strong ownership, communication, and collaboration skills.Experience working on ML engineering systems.Preferred Qualifications:Proficiency in AI technologies.Passion for low-level embedded programming, particularly in the context of robotics hardware.Familiarity with robotic systems.Competitive salary and equity in a seed stage venture-backed startup.
