SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology with 5 years of experience in a similar role.
ResponsibilitiesCreate Test Plans for Routing & Bridging features and protocols.Execute test cases by enabling Bridging and Routing features and Protocols.Participate in Test Plan Review meetings.Handle defects in software functionality.Report all bugs with logs and CLI outputs.Fix software releases and verify defects by upgrading software.Enable L2 Bridging Protocol LACP.Use interop testing with ARP Protocol along with IPv4 and IPv6 routing protocols.Verify MCLAG feature and file bugs while testing High Availability VLAN protocol.Work on MVRP Protocol while testing Shortest-Path Bridging Protocol using Layer 3 switches.Enhance coverage using IP over SPB with Multilayer switches.Use IP Multicast Protocol to increase test coverage.Execute test cases of Routing Information Protocol in combination with Open Shortest Path First feature.Fix bugs in automation and create test suite for regression.Mentor team in all aspects like test plan creation and test execution.Debug and troubleshoot problems to root cause issues.SkillsHigh Availability VLAN protocol, Open Shortest Path, IPv4 and IPv6 routing, Shortest-Path Bridging.
Must be willing to travel and/or relocate to work in unanticipated locations throughout the US. No telecommuting.
