The opportunity As a pivotal member of our nascent engineering team, you'll: Work closely with the CEO and CTO to bring products from 0 to 1 Have the autonomy to steer key architectural decisions and institute engineering best practices. Technology: GCP, Docker, AWS, Redis, TypeScript Requirements: Ownership & Drive: Take full responsibility for project deliverables, demonstrate initiative, and proactively solve challenges. Technical Mastery: 4+ years of intense experience with backend software development: web application development, demonstrated mastery in at least a single language or framework, creating and maintaining CRUD API endpoints, working with relational databases, familiarity with Docker, Azure or GCP Problem-Solving: Navigate engineering tradeoffs effectively, balancing speed with quality. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fields, or equivalent hands-on experience in a software development role. Bonus Familiarity with Typescript, Nodejs, Postgres, Redis, tRPC, Vercel Experience in building search and recommendation systems Prior roles as a tech lead and experience in the fast-paced startup environment.
