We are proud to be the first financial technology platform to combine consumer credit and global remittances. Our product solves the worst aspects of money transfer by empowering our customers to use credit rather than cash. At the same time, we help immigrants establish their financial future in their new country by building positive credit history with their existing remittance obligations and financially include their loved ones in emerging economies with access to modern financial instruments.

The Team As a key member of Pomelo's Infrastructure team, you will be pivotal in building and maintaining the core systems that ensure our platform's reliability, scalability, and performance. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and stability of our services, enabling us to deliver a seamless experience to our users.
Your Role Ensure the availability, performance, security, and scalability of our production systemsCollaborate with the engineering team to deploy services across various environmentsScale our infrastructure to handle traffic spikes and increased capacity during high-volume eventsProvide recommendations for architectural and process improvementsMaintain an efficient CI/CD pipeline to enable faster and safer software deliveryDevelop and maintain shared tools and infrastructure used by product and engineering teamsMeasure Service Level Indicators (SLIs) and take action to ensure systems meet organizational Service Level Objectives (SLOs)Participate in an on-call rotation to address and resolve production-critical issuesChampion process improvements and automation to reduce manual work and enhance operational healthDrive continuous improvement of existing systems and tooling, including testing, monitoring, alerting, security, and release processesAssist other engineering teams in designing reliable and maintainable systemsHelp define standards, guidelines, and best practices for infrastructure managementRequired Qualifications To thrive at Pomelo, a growth mindset, low ego, and a focus on high impact are crucial.
