The Team
The Equity Investments and Client Activities team at Parametric:
We are building financial software that solves for some of the world's most complex financial opportunities.This includes building solutions to provide customized direct index exposure while making tax sensitive asset selection to improve overall after-tax portfolio returns.
We design and build financial software responsible for the account life cycle that starts with the onboarding of accounts, managing all client activities and investment instructions, and finally managing equity investment accounts at scale.

The Senior Software Engineer on the Equity Investments and Client Activities team will be responsible for design, development, and integration of technology solutions to support all aspects of our equity investments platform.In this role, the Senior Software Engineer will leverage new and existing technologies to build and maintain services that scale the platform, including on-prem systems and cloud native AWS micro services.
Primary Responsibilities
–Design and develop proprietary solutions for the Equity Direct Indexing portfolio management teams
–Provide technical leadership to other Software Engineers.
–Design, develop, and maintain services and API to support various business needs
–Leverage scalable and distributed computing principles to build the next generation of services
–Ensure that software solutions remain integrated, efficient, and appropriate for a highly regulated industry.
–Create unit/integration/functional/performance tests
–Mentor new or less senior developers
–Conduct code reviews of other developers
–Share experience, knowledge, and ideas with the team to improve processes and productivity
Job Requirements
–Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related area of study preferred
–5+ years of work experience working on large scale software development and deployment.Asset management experience preferred by not required.
–5+ yearsof hands-on development experience managing all aspects of technical projects with a proven track record of delivering well architected and well written software solutions.
–Experience supervising and guiding software development teams and fostering an engaging, collaborative environment.
–5+ Years of hands-on C# software design and development experience
–Cloud native development experience a plus
–Strong aptitude for highly efficient data structures and algorithms
–Strong knowledge of relational databases and SQL
–Proven track record of becoming a subject matter expert in areas related to current assignments.
–A creative, self-confident self-motivator with a "can do" spirit.

Salary range for the position: $110,000 - $225,000/Yr. The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit's incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component.
