The Role Overjet is hiring a talented and motivated Senior Software Engineer to join our remote Engineering team.
You will build valuable software products for our insurance and dental practice customers. You will participate in cross-functional project teams and execute on the technical direction of the projects you are working on.
Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain impactful software solutions that transform our customers' ability to deliver the best outcomes for patientsWrite efficient and scalable code, ensuring code quality and adherence to best practicesAct as a key technical partner to cross-functional teams including ProductTroubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issuesParticipate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processesRegularly scheduled and sometimes ad-hoc on-call rotations are part of the core job of every engineer on our teamQualifications Excellent academic background in Computer Science or other related fieldSignificant relevant experience writing code and delivering products with increasing levels of responsibilityStrong technical skills in programming languages such as Java, Python, Node, GoLang, C#, and SwiftStrong familiarity with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, and Microsoft AzureYou have experience in cultivating a strong engineering culture in an iterative, agile environmentExcellent verbal and written communication in English is requiredAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, technical, and mission-focused environmentOur Hybrid Workplace We have a unique hybrid workplace at Overjet — which combines the teamwork of meeting in person, with the flexibility of working from anywhere.
