What you'll be working on: Build and maintain a centralized tool within/across various exchanges to support reliable and flexible asset transfers and settlements.Design and build Middleware systems to support all company product lines.Design and build multiple data driven intelligent systems to streamline the trade operational process, including customer attribution logic, configuration management design, process management, deployment, monitoring, data collection, and analysis.Design and implement effective attribution logic to support complex settlement for subaccount, virtual accounts, etc.Own End-to-End engineering flow including troubleshooting production issues, monitoring and troubleshooting trading systems and exchange/venues proactively.ResponsibilitiesDesign and create customer facing products and internal tools, write performant code adhering to company's coding style guides with proper unit test coverage, and identify bottlenecks in the system to improve application response times.Work with engineers, product managers, business team, and senior leadership to turn our product and technical vision into a tangible roadmap every quarter.Take ownership of technical aspects of our infrastructure, ensuring that the platform is used to its fullest potential through designing and building applications around our customer's needs.Review and monitor current engineering work, as well as previously constructed applications, to ensure the software is running as smoothly as possible.Rapidly iterate to add new functionality and solve complex problems with simple, intuitive, and customer-focused solutions while shipping quality applications.Provide support for platform related issues; triage and fix issues reported to help with timely resolution.Minimum RequirementsBE/Btech degree with equivalent years of experience; CS preferred.At least 7 years of experience in software engineering and experience working with production scale web applications.At least 5 years experience writing production code in Python, Java, or Golang.At least 1 year working in AWS environment, familiar with modern web technologies like AWS cloud, MySQL database, Redis caching, and messaging tools like Kafka/SQS.Comfortable working backend, with an excitement about diving into the backend or datastore as needed.Good knowledge regarding data structures, algorithms, and asynchronous architectures.Understanding of modern industry technical methodologies and comfortable operating in dynamic environments.Passionate about building an open financial system that expands our product to the next level.Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset with a detail-oriented approach to operations.Experience with Docker-based applications in cloud infrastructure is a plus.Security experience is a plus.Base pay for this role is expected to be between $156,000 and $224,500 USD.
This expected base pay range is based on information at the time this post was generated.
This role will also be eligible for other forms of compensation such as a performance-linked bonus, equity, and a competitive benefits package.
Actual compensation for a successful candidate will be determined based on a number of factors such as skillset, experience, and qualifications.
