Description In this role, you will be working on one or more web applications that enable other teams within Apple to build, test, and ship their code. You will be exposed to a large domain where you will be taking part in synthesizing complex workflows to produce experiences that help users visualize, understand, and manage various aspects of their deployment process. To accomplish this, you will be expected to efficiently collaborate and communicate with large and diverse teams and take part in the ownership of user experience design, implementation, and maintenance. This will involve producing and challenging wireframes and user flows, implementing them with test-covered code, and slowly evolving the codebase alongside community advancements. This individual will assume substantial responsibility and influence over the direction of numerous critical Apple internet services for the foreseeable future. You possess many ideas and a genuine passion for crafting user experiences by designing intuitive, user-friendly interfaces prioritizing performance, reliability, and simplicity. The engineer's contributions will profoundly impact hundreds of millions of users and be pivotal to the success of some of the most prominent current and forthcoming Apple features.
Minimum Qualifications 8+ years industry experience.Experience with React, NodeJS, and ES6 concepts.Experience with a modern front-end build tool, e.g., Webpack.Good knowledge of APIs and REST architecture.Ability to work with other developers on the team/s and deliver solid and tested products.Should have excellent communication and collaborative skills.Proven ability to excel in a fast-paced development team.Bachelor's Degree in an engineering-related field, or equivalent related experience.Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of one of the charting libraries, e.g., D3.Knowledge of Design, UI, UX principles.Experience with Python and Java.Kubernetes and Docker knowledge a plus.At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,800 and $312,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
