Responsibilities
FTI is currently looking for a Software Test Automation Engineer to provide automation test support for the Space Systems Command (SSC), on the Enterprise Ground Services (EGS) Program. This role should understand Software Automation Testing, be versed in various automation tools, and develop relationships with development partners across the EGS program supporting the following related tasks:
+ Create Test Automation scripts supporting several applications
+ Create Manual Test Cases to support EGS system integration
+ Responsible for testing deployment of EGS mission systems
+ Create and execute Test Plans for Functional, Integration and Regression Testing
+ Experience with test automation tools (e.g Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Eggplant, shell scripts)
+ Utilize Jira and Zephyr to support the Software Development Life-Cycle
+ Coordinates with project supervisors and business heads
+ Responsible for deployment of vendor-tested mission systems, as well as software testing, debugging and resolution of integration issues
+ Provides continual maintenance of the integration/automation scripts as the software and platform changes
+ Coordinates with project supervisors and business heads and manages all projects regarding enterprise data
+ Travel 10%
Education/Qualifications
+ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering or related field required (Master's degree preferred)
+ Experience with Platform as a Service (PAAS)
+ Experience with Virtualization/Containerization of products
+ Linux/Windows System Administration (LDAP knowledge a plus)
+ Working experience with Configuration Management
+ Working knowledge of Git and other version control system
+ Top Secret clearance required. Previous SAP/SAR experience is strongly preferred.
+ Experience working within an Agile development team
+ Experience supporting DevOps and/or DevSecOps engineers and environments
+ Experience working with automation tools (e.g Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
+ Working experience with virtualize/container platforms (e.g. VMware, OpenShift)
+ Jenkins Continuous Integration (CI) / Continuous Development (CD) pipelines
+ Strong scripting skills (e.g. Python, Bash, PowerShell)
+ Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems
+ Must possess strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
+ Ability to work with cross functional team (i.e. project manager, development teams, engineers, etc.)
For this role, the compensation range for candidates in Colorado is ($160K- $200K) . Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience. FTI has a location based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in other locations.
