KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Specialist to join our Federal Advisory practice. Responsibilities: Support architecture and design of comprehensive modern cloud solutions including creating / maintaining architecture diagrams for applications, infrastructure, and platforms Support conceptual / logical architecture blueprints through a linkage between client and user value chains, process flows, applications, data schemas, integrations, and overall IT capabilities Monitor the performance and security of cloud systems to identify and remediate any issues that arise then work to optimize cloud systems for cost / efficiency Collaborate with engagement delivery teams in setting the technology strategy on transformation initiatives, with experience in next-gen ecosystems including open-source concepts, API's, micro-services, web / data services Stay current on the latest cloud technologies / trends to ensure customer solutions remain cutting-edge and effective Qualifications: A minimum of three years of Cloud Engineering experience; U.S. Federal government consulting experience preferred Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university Experience designing cloud architectures, implementing production infrastructure and applications in cloud environments  Scripting experience is preferred with a proficiency in Unix / Linux environments and ability to develop in terminal environments Experience with source code management systems like GIT and SVN; ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical team members Ability to travel as required to support firm engagements Applicant must possess a U.S. Government Secret clearance KPMG complies with all local/state regulations regarding displaying salary ranges.
